The Cardinal artists have been continuing to explore new art materials. We recently tried our hand at using a variety of tools to make paintings...we used palette knifes, popsicle sticks, forks, q-tips, even toothbrushes (!) to apply paint, move it around the paper, make different marks and mix colors.
As they were working, many of our friends noticed that they were able to create new colors with red, yellow and blue, and that sometimes these colors mixed together to make brown. Some friends had made some paint-mixing discoveries in our last painting exploration and were able to re-create new colors.
