Fabulous Friday News

We began our morning with joining our friends in Lower School for assembly.  The children in the 3's/4's  classes were very excited to be asked to perform on stage  with all of their Early Childhood friends.  The children performed a Spanish song they have been practicing for several weeks for the Winter Program.  With joy and confidence, the children  walked on stage and took their designated spots! This was a wonderful opportunity for the children to share in our  Lower School community and at the same time become more comfortable for our upcoming Winter Program.

After assembly, we had music class in the auditorium with Adene. It was so much fun staying in the  auditorium and having music class on the stage!  We used the scarves to dance and practiced using our singing voices together.

Journal writing was also really very special.  The children love finding special spaces in the classroom and drawing in their journals. The children were asked to think about the question "If the  bird that you  have been studying were to take a special adventure... where or what would he/she do?"   This was the focus of our journal writing today.  The dim lights, open snack and relaxed atmosphere set the tone for our writing session this morning.

Magnificent Magna Tile Creations!

Our Writing center continues to be a very popular spot in our classroom. The children love the time drawing together, socializing and chatting. Practice in fine motor skills is  an important component in our early childhood program.

Glimpses of Choice Time....

Have a wonderful weekend!  Enjoy the family time together!
